M01

Keep it hidden. M01 is a residential masterplan nestled in the mountains. The main challenge was to hide all the infrastructure equipments necessary to power up the lots, thus minimizing the visual impact on the land. This was achieved by treating the facility building as an iceberg where only the tip raises above ground to allow access to the complex below-ground machineries, tanks and control panels which supply all the necessary infrastructure to the masterplan. This design decision has the added value of protecting the equipment from the severe winter weather.
